A passion for small, locally owned and operated businesses has been the through line of my career. I’ve always shown up with an eagerness to jump in on the difficult, the messy, the ambiguous – and have been rewarded through learning countless lessons from the creative and talented people I’ve worked with.
I work in little steps & big leaps, and love building something directly with my clients.
I’m inspired by food, fiction, travel, architecture and the built world, family lore, & my local environment. I have a passion for people – I want to understand how communities coalesce around a specific interest, and I want to help nurture those connections to be fruitful for everyone involved. My creative process, no matter what I’m building, begins with an understanding of myself and my audience. From there, it’s molded out of respect for technique and material, and finished with a keen attention to detail and a well of pride.
My personal hobbies include but are not limited to: baking, cooking, wood working, reading (mostly fiction), biking, and communing with friends.
